- I know that Janie is on the list, so will let her and others speak to the
- strategy issue, but to address your MacApp issues:
-
- 1.) We are addressing Visual Tools, specifically the state of interface
- builders
- 2.) We WILL HAVE container support, which will provide, among other
- things, immediate internet access through CyberDog.
- 3.) We announced - (and even showed some killer slides!) that we are
- moving towards some type of shared code base between ODF and MacApp. If
- you have a WWDC CD, check out the ODF or Ike Nassi's Tools Keynote
- slides, and you will get a picture of what the "shared" future might look
- like.
- 4.) Finally, members of ODF team montior the MacApp newsgroup, and
- members of the MacApp team montior the ODF Mailing list. There is a
- single goal of the frameworks group to provide you the best tools
- possible, and that means working together.
-
- PS - there is a thread in the MacApp newsgroup about this issue, too.
- Would you mind posting your message there. I think it is a good one, and
- will spark conversation. Thanks,
-
- hope this helps...
